These trousers were handmade from scratch, using a combination of direct measurements of the wearer, and from a reference pair of trousers (F3). Due to the thickness of the material, the stitching was done with a double thickness of thread, all of which was pretty tough on the fingers.
Pockets were added to the back, but not to the front. The waistband was decorated with a pattern of holes, using a leather-punch. As a final distinguishing flourish, a signature was sewn on to the right back pocket - you might just be able to see that on the picture.
I think the fabric's probably meant to be fake leather, but it's not very realistic, and I don't pretend it's leather. (A piece is shown to the right). They are very warm indeed on the inside, and waterproof, and therefore very well suited to winter wearing.
